MPI Announces 'The Haunting of Amelia' DVD

On DVD December 28 from MPI is A.D. Calvo's newly titled The Haunting of Amelia (aka The Other Side of the Tracks). Starring Chad Lindberg, Brendan Fehr, Tania Raymonde, Natassia Malthe and Beatrice Rosen, ten years after a tragic train accident killed his girlfriend, Josh finds himself haunted by disturbing visions from somewhere between the world of the living and the dead-haunting memories that keep him from moving on. His buddy, Rusty back in town for their high school reunion, tries to wake Josh from his painful past, but a mysterious young waitress offers a seductive alternative.

Anchor Bay Announces 'Let Me In' DVD/Blu-ray Release

Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Let Me In for February 1st. DVD Active reports extras will include an audio commentary with director Matt Reeves, featurettes ("From The Inside: A Look at the Making of Let Me In", "The Art of Special Effects"), unrated deleted scenes, a Car Crash Sequence Step-by-Step, trailers, and a poster gallery. The Blu-ray release will also include a Dissecting Let Me In feature, and a digital copy of the film.

Roddy Piper Says his Prayers for 'Legion: Final Exorcism'

Available on DVD January 11, 2011 from MTI Home Video is Legion: Final Exorcism (sigh). Starring David Heavener, Roddy Piper (They Live) and Ariel Teal Toombs, the film was written, directed and produced by David Heavener follows Michael San Chica (Heavener) as an ex-priest. He is also an investigator documenting true events of demonic possession. When Michael comes to the rescue of the newly possessed Tatiana McMurter (Toombs), daughter of a Baptist minister, he discovers that he has encountered this demon before... A demon he vowed to track down and send back to hell. Because this time it's not business... it's personal. DVD features include: 16:9 widescreen format, 5.1 Dolby digital surround sound, closed captioned, behind-the-scenes, interactive menus, scene selection, trailers, and optional Spanish subtitles.
