Each double feature volume includes two terrifying horror films along with bonus materials. The pairings include The Gravedancers and Wicked Little Things: Unrated Directors Cut; Borderland: Unrated Directors Cut and Crazy Eights; The Broken along with The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations; and The Graves and Zombies of Mass Destruction. | 'The Last Exorcism' Announced for DVD and Blu-ray Posted: 26 Oct 2010 10:35 AM PDT Everything you believe will be changed this January as Lionsgate releases The Last Exorcism to DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Digital Download and On Demand. The film comes from a collaboration of minds rising director Daniel Stamm (upcoming M. Night Shyamalans Reincarnate), as well as all-star horror producer Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hostel: Part II) and the producers of Dawn of the Dead. The Last Exorcism was a festival favorite chosen for the LA Film Festival, Toronto After Dark, Fright Fest and others throughout 2010. Details inside. |

The Alien Anthology Blu-ray collection from Fox leads the way in what has been a great month for horror collectors. The highly anticipated Lovecraftian thriller Altitude finally makes a landing. Classic films are also well represented with the 30th anniversary edition of Maniac and a Criterion release of the insane Hausu. Another solid week in the wide world of home video horror. | Release Date For 'Chain Letter' DVD/Blu-Ray Announced Posted: 26 Oct 2010 08:00 AM PDT Getting a limited theatrical release after sitting on the shelf for FOREVER, Deon Taylor's Chain Letter is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on February 1 via Image Entertainment, according to High-Def Digest. Specs for the release aren't known at this point, but odds are we'll get minimal special features considering the film's dismal box office - well, that and it's not a cult classic. |
