Trailer for Norwegian Chiller 'Dark Souls'

From directors Mathieu Peteul and César Ducasse comes the Norwegian (Cold Prey) horror Dark Souls, which is currently in post-production. From Addict Film, the thriller was shot on Super 16 in Oslo, Norway. The trailer teases: "The Darkness within has come out to play." You can watch it below. "A revengeful father embarks on a dark thrill ride of lost memories, conspiracy and zombie-like symptoms. Finding the mysterious darkness within is the source of the bizarre world he has uncovered."

Urban 'My Place in the Horror' Becomes 'The Inheritance'

The first poster has finally arrived for Robert O' Hara's The Inheritance (formerly My Place in the Horror), which stars both Keith David (The Thing) and Golden Brooks. "In the film a Black family reunion turns deadly when the elders have to make good on an ancient pact with a spirit of an ancestor. Now, its this generations turn to make the ultimate sacrifice. It is their duty and their destiny, but they wont give up without a fight to survive."

LA Shriekfest Line-Up Announced!

One of the top destinations for indie horror, LA's Shriekfest, now in it's 10th year, has announced their lineup for their upcoming festival, which will once again take place at the Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles. One of the big gets is Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer, which boasts a number of genre faves, including Lance Henriksen, Danielle Harris, and Tiffany Shepis. Another one to look for is the world premiere of Ashes, which stars Brian Krause and Feast director John Gulager (!).
