'REC 2' Releases 'In Case of a Zombie Emergency' Video Guide!

Posted: 23 Aug 2010 11:38 AM PDT

While we wait for REC 2 to be released on DVD/Blu-ray here in the States, the UK is already getting a viral campaign rolling for their home video release. Exclusively produced for the UK DVD and Blu-ray release comes an 'In Case of a Zombie Emergency' guide video! The highly anticipated sequel to one of the scariest films of all time, [REC] 2 picks up 15 minutes from where we left off, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus has run rampant, turning the occupants into mindlessly violent, raging beasts. A heavily armed SWAT team and a mysterious government official are sent in to assess and attempt to neutralize the situation. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical sciencea demonic nightmare of biblical proportions more terrifying than they could have possibly imagined. Above all it must be contained, before it escapes to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting world outside.

This weeks edition of Horror in Your House is led by the rather lackluster Survival of the Dead. A&E Home Entertainment is releasing five horror films from the Lifetime Networks horror catalog. Really, they have a horror catalog. In other news, a couple nice triple features are being released, one featuring the excellent gore comedy, Big Bad Wolf. Catch up on what else is coming out Tuesday by reading below.

Anchor Bay Entertainment proudly announces the Blu-ray debut of Adam Green's slasher classic Hatchet on September 7, 2010. Below you'll find Blu-ray cover art and an exclusive commentary clip with Co-producer/Writer/Director Adam Green and actor Kane Hodder as they talk about why he took the role of Victor Crowley!

A Sweaty Situation in Excluisve 'Burning Bright' Clip

Posted: 23 Aug 2010 07:18 AM PDT

One of my favorite direct-to-video releases this year is Carlos Brooks' suspenseful Burning Bright (review), which is now available on DVD here in the States with a UK release this Tuesday. To get you pumped for the release, inside you'll find an exclusive clip featuring the beautiful Briana Evigan in a sticky (more like sweaty) situation. When 20 year old Kelly wakes late at night during a hurricane, she finds a hungry tiger stalking her through the halls of her home. With every door and window boarded up from the outside and her stepfather nowhere to be found, Kelly fights frantically to stay one step ahead of the killer beast while dragging her autistic brother Tom through the house, but with every turn the situation becomes more complicated and desperate.
