Blu-ray Announcement: 'Return of the Living Dead' and 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' Posted: 26 Jul 2010 04:13 PM PDT Two late seventies/early eighties horror classics will invade high-definition this September. High-Def Digest reports that in an early announcement to retailers, MGM/UA has announced Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Return of the Living Dead are coming to Blu-ray on September 14! Specs and details have yet to be revealed, but each release appears to be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with a suggested list price of $24.99. These BETTER be good transfers.

Roger Corman Interviewed for 'Piranha 3D' Release Posted: 26 Jul 2010 10:28 AM PDT Although legendary B-movie producer Roger Corman did not produce the upcoming remake of his film Piranha, Corman said he was interviewed for the eventual DVD and Blu-ray release of the new film, Piranha 3D, which releases theatrically August 20. Piranha 3D retells the story of prehistoric man-eating fish ravaging a group of Spring Break partiers. It is directed by director Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes 2006 remake) and stars Jessica Szohr ("Gossip Girl"), Steven R. McQueen ("The Vampire Diaries"), Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Adam Scott, Richard Dreyfuss and Jerry O'Connell. Find the details inside.
