Another Alien Invasion Flick Coming from Michael Bay and Steven Schneider

2011 looks to be the year that aliens invade the box office. Joining Oren Peli's Area 51 and JJ Abrams' Super 8 comes another in a string of alien related flicks but this one, at least for now, is remaining pretty hush hush.

According to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog Paramount is the latest to snatch up this latest aliens-related pitch coming from rookie scribe Bobby Glickert to be produced by Michael Bay and Paranormal Activity 2 executive producer Steven Schneider

The project has been described as Cloverfield meets Paranormal Activity. That would indicate a low-fi approach that relies on one or more of the protagonists doing the actual street-level filming. Oh, and explosions. Lots and lots and lots of explosions.
